Welcome to Souls Harbour Church
It's ALL About Jesus
The only way we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives is through receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
Being Difference Makers
Through various outreach events and support services our aim is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community.
We Are Family
We believe that church is meant to be a group of imperfect people working together to build relationships with each other and with God.
About Us
Souls Harbour was founded in 1987 by Pastor David Flanders and a group of family and friends. It is the largest church in Camelford, Cornwall with a congregation of just over 100 and is affiliated with the Assemblies of God (GB).
Souls Harbour has always had a special call to Youth and Children’s ministries running a children’s club and youth cafe as well as the usual Sunday school and youth meeting. Just visit our events page for the latest about what's on.
Unusually for a rural church, we have a distinct international flavour hosting teams, speakers and interns from various countries. This has largely come about because of Pastor David’s international ministry. There is an emphasis on preaching and teaching within the Church, which we believe is part of our mandate from God. Services involve contemporary worship, preaching/teaching and communion. After the Sunday service there are refreshments in our cafe. More information and service specifics are available on our Plan Your Visit page.
In 2019, we also opened a separate community support centre called the Grow Centre, which is located in the middle of Camelford and welcomes anyone in for support. The Grow Centre provides free clothing, foodbank referrals and parcels, home basics packs of toiletries and supplies, CV writing support and special support events, such as our kids "back-to-school pack" event.
At Souls Harbour we are committed to creating a “Climate for Change” - changed lives, changed communities and a changed world.
