Souls Harbour was founded in 1987 by Pastor David Flanders and a group of family and friends. It is the largest church in Camelford, Cornwall with a congregation of just over 100 and is affiliated with the Assemblies of God (GB). In 2026 David retired with Joe Engle taking on the position as lead pastor.
Souls Harbour has always had a special call to Youth and Children’s ministries running a children’s club and youth cafe as well as the usual Sunday school and youth meeting.
Our Sunday services are held every week at 11:00am. We start with a time of praise and worship followed by the sermon with praise to finish. Children are welcome to attend our children’s church during the sermon. We also stream our services on our Facebook page so members can watch live if they are unable to attend or want to catch up on a later date.
During term time, we have various weekly events for the entire family. We usually have a midweek meeting for adults on Wednesday nights and Xbi kids club and Soul’d Out youth club on Friday nights. We also host a young adults group for 18 – 30 year olds on Mondays.
If you want to serve as a volunteer, we have many aspects of church ministry and community outreach to consider. From ushers, to Sunday School teachers, to builders, to bakers, to Grow Centre helpers and many more. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved!

Souls Harbour is located in the heart of Camelford.
There is ample free parking within the Clease Car Park.
The building is also wheelchair accessible.
